Anoushka shankar is a British and American sitar player. She also plays music. She is the youngest woman and the first to be awarded the British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shankar is a rising young star of the Indian sitar. She is a scholar and daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was London in 1982, and her first years she split in London New Delhi. The first time she performed was in New Delhi when she was only 13 years old.
